2012 rings in a New Year with lots of things going on in the Eerie Frequency camp. Joe Mohn will be casting for his second slasher film Chronicles Of A Serial Killer Saturday March 10th at the Best Western, 870 N. Canfield Niles Rd, Austintown, Ohio 44515, casting will be from noon to 8pm. Travis Bowen is currently writing the script for a new Eerie Frequency film by Matt Jefferson going into production this summer, Matt is slated to be directing two films this year. Eerie Frequency's Halloween Horror Expo has announced that this years show will be held on October 27th and 28th at the Eastwood Expo Center, this marks the 10th anniversary for the horror convention which was originally called Dark Xmas from 2003 to 2009.  

Just in time for Christmas... Eerie Frequency's Travis Bowen, Joe Mohn, and Matt Jefferson will be appearing at Gallery 46 at the Eastwood Mall complex in Niles Ohio from 12pm to 2pm on Saturday December 17th. There will also be forms on hand for new films going into production in 2012 for those interested in becoming extras to fill out. In their latest horror film which was released 10/11/11 called The Girl, all three were actors in the movie while Bowen directed the film and Mohn was the script writer. The Girl DVD will also be available for sale at the event... Mohn's second movie and 1st as a director Night Of The Cannibals will have the trailer available for viewing, it's projected release date is June 2012.

Night Of The Cannibals was wrapped up last month. The movie directed by Joe Mohn stars Daniel Emery Taylor from Return Of The Swamp Thing and Road Trip, Kristina Michelle, Julian Kalis, Courtney Nicole, Matt Jefferson, Cory German, with a special appearance by Sierra Holmes from Piranha 3DD and VH1's Scream Queens. Special effects for NOTC were done by Jim Danko and GD Effects, the movies projected release date is June 2012... Matt Jefferson has completed the script for the horror thriller Mr. Difford that will be shot this summer. Matt will also be helming a second full length film this summer from EFE, more details on that will be coming soon. Travis Bowen recently appeared on two episodes of Lisa Neeld's TV Show VIP Styles that plays on the WBCB channel Thursday mornings, the episodes are also available to watch on Youtube.

Casting Call for Night Of The Cannibals will be tomorrow, Saturday July 30th from 2pm to 8pm at the Best Western Inn, 870 N Canfield Niles Road, Austintown, OH 44515. The gorefest film will be directed by Joe Mohn with lead makeup effects done by Glenn Reed, Glenn was the lead makeup effects artist for Dead Life. The movie stars Lisa Neeld as Angel and loads of hungry cannibals. The movie is also in negotiations with two horror veteran's that will also take on leading roles, their names will be released once they are officially signed on. Three other's associated with the project are Travis Bowen who is acting as an advisor/co-producer, Matt Jefferson who will be doing lighting and makeup, and Mike Kolovich who will be a the 2nd Cam on select shoots.

Lonni Gary joins Eerie Frequency as a new star actress, she has a leading role in Eerie Frequency's The Girl which is being released on DVD to stores on 10/11/11 through Picturedactyl Distribution LLC. Joe Mohn will be doing casting soon for Night Of The Cannibals and he plans to go into production starting in early August. Joe will be bringing in Glenn Reed to create his cannibals, Glenn is best known for his special effect makeup work for the movie Dead Life. The production for Adrift has been pushed back as the screen play is currently unfinished.

The Girl has obtained distribution through Picturedactyl Distribution LLC and will be released on October 11, 2011 to select stores nationwide, the movie is now listed on IMDB. Both Travis Bowen and Joe Mohn's seperate scripts are now complete, Joe's is a gorefest called Night Of The Cannibals and Travis's is an apocalyptic science fiction tale called Hollow Earth. Justin Lamar and Matt Jefferson are still working on the screen plays to their next films. The Girl film editor Holly Sechrist was recently nominated for two Emmy's for her editing work this year. Casting for Hollow Earth is complete except for minor and extra roles and Night Of The Cannibals will be casting soon.

We are sad to announce the passing today of actress Dolores Fuller. She was best known for having starred in Ed Wood's first full lenght feature film in 1953 with Bela Lugosi called "Glen Or Glenda," and "Bride Of The Monster" also with Bela Lugosi. She had the lead female role in Ed Wood's sci-fi suspense movie "Jail Bait" with Conrad Brooks. Many years later in 2005 she was filmed in an Eerie Frequency horror comedy project that was never released along with Lloyd Kaufman. She did however appear in the special features section of Eerie Frequency's 2020 An American Nightmare called "The Making Of A B-Movie." In 1994 Tim Burton made a movie about Ed Wood and Dolores Fuller's life called "Ed Wood," Johnny Depp played Ed Wood, and Sarah Jessica Parker played Dolores Fuller. Besides being an actress she was also a talented song writer having wrote many songs for Elvis Presley.

The script for Adrift is currently being worked on by Justin Lamar as he recently returned to Eerie Frequency and the space horror film is slated for production in summer 2011. Joe Mohn will be interviewed on Akron's hottest radio show on 92.5 FM about Night Of The Cannibals soon. There's a lot of script writing going on in the EFE camp currently including Matt Jefferson who's working on a unique serial killer story, more on that later. Mike Kolovich recently edited the trailer for Vodoo Rising starring Mark Cray. Big news for The Girl will be coming soon in the next month or two.

The script for Night Of The Cannibals is almost complete. The story which is written by Joe Mohn promises to be a gorefest and the lead actors for this project will be Lisa Neeld, Josh White, Alleghany Shane, and Eerie Frequency is in negotiations to bring in someone whom was in an iconic horror film as the final lead character. Mohn will be the director for Night Of The Cannibals and plans to start shooting in early 2011. Travis Bowen is in the early stages of his latest script, the untitled project will be a sci-fi and horror crossover film. Mike Kolovich is currently working with the production company that brought you Hellweek on a new feature film. Robert Z'Dar who has been having plenty of health issues lately is recovering. Eerie Frequency & Sound Video Productions are currently in negotiations with a few distribution companies to see whom will provide the best distribution deal for the movie The Girl.
